What We Collect

When you purchase Standalone, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your name, email address, and payment information to process the transaction and deliver your license key.

If Standalone encounters a crash or unexpected error, we may receive diagnostic crash reports through Sentry. These reports may include technical information such as your macOS version, app version, and diagnostic context about the state of the app at the time of the issue. Crash reports do not include personal data or the content of your recordings.

We also collect limited anonymous in-app analytics to understand feature usage, improve reliability, and fix bugs. This may include app launches, feature usage, plugin load and error events, audio device changes, app version, macOS version, timestamps, and a pseudonymous device identifier. We do not collect names, email addresses, location data, audio recordings, file names, file paths, preset contents, plugin settings, or other personal content through in-app analytics. Analytics data is sent to our own servers and is not shared with a third-party analytics provider.

The Standalone application does not otherwise collect, transmit, or store personal data. It runs entirely on your computer.

How We Use Your Information

We use your email address to:

• Deliver your license key
• Send important product updates (security fixes, major releases)
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third Party Services

We use Stripe to process payments. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy

We use Sentry for crash reporting. Their privacy policy is available at sentry.io/privacy

We do not use a third-party analytics provider for in-app analytics. That data is sent to and processed on our own servers.

Data Retention

We retain your purchase information (email and license key) for as long as your license is active, plus any period required by law for financial records. Anonymous crash reports and in-app analytics are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to monitor reliability, understand product usage, and improve the app.
